If you have strong PPE sales experience, enjoy winning new business and know how to develop lasting customer relationships, this is an opportunity to take ownership of your territory and make a real commercial impact.
What you’ll be doing as a Business Development Manager:
- You’ll drive growth across your territory by identifying new opportunities, winning PPE business and developing existing customer accounts.
- Identify and prospect new customers to grow our Safety and PPE business.
- Win and implement new PPE accounts across your territory.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities alongside our Account Managers.
- Develop existing accounts by identifying opportunities to increase PPE spend.
- Achieve agreed sales and margin targets.
- Prepare and present commercially strong quotes and proposals.
- Spend at least four days per week meeting customers face-to-face across your territory.
What we’re looking for as a Business Development Manager:
- At least 3 years’ experience within PPE sales or a closely related Safety sales role.
- A proven track record of prospecting and winning new business.
- Experience developing existing customer accounts and identifying growth opportunities.
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with sales, margin and pricing.
- The ability to create and present compelling customer proposals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- The flexibility to travel regularly across North England.
