As a Business Development Manager, you will identify, qualify, and win corporate‐level business within a specified geographical area. The role is Home/Field‐Based, ideally located in the Midlands or South England. Salary is based on experience (DOE) plus commission, and includes a company car, laptop, and mobile phone.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business sales through achievement of monthly sales activity.
  • Prospect for new business using a range of methods, including telephone and social media.
  • Visit customers at their sites across the geographical area in line with demand.
  • Negotiate fixed‐term contracts and manage all stages of contract negotiations, including tender processes and e‐auctions.
  • Build pricing and technical strategy.

Qualifications

  • Previous business‐to‐business sales experience.
  • Experience in an FMCG sales environment.
  • Ability to use social media to sell.
  • Comfortable producing video content to engage with customers.
  • Previous bid/tender experience.
