Lyreco, a market leader in Workplace Solutions, is looking for a New Business Development Manager to join our team in the Leeds, York, Wakefield area. We have an exciting opportunity for a New Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The Business Development Manager will consistently win and implement new accounts.
Location: Leeds, York, Wakefield area
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: Up to £40k per annum (DOE) + commission
- Benefits: Company car, laptop, phone, Company Pension, Life assurance, 23 days holiday (increases with tenure) plus 8 bank holidays, Employee discount scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, Health and wellness initiatives.
Working Hours: Mon‑Fri 9:00‑17:30.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently win new customers within a defined prospect area
- Implement and set up new accounts, focusing on product penetration and profit
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Negotiate pricing and margin with customers as needed
- Work closely with the wider team to grow and develop successful business in the Central London area
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a business‑to‑business sales role
- Proven track record of achieving sales and margin targets
- Ability to build and develop a pipeline of new business
- Excellent customer awareness and ability to build solid working relationships
- Ability to sell and negotiate at all levels within an organization
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
