About the Role:
Lyra Health is seeking a UK-based Senior Salesforce Developer to join our multicultural team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions that hold the case data of 20,000 clinicians operating in over 150 countries. You will work as part of a dedicated team in partnership with colleagues in the UK/South Africa/US, and will collaborate with stakeholders, lead technical teams, and ensure the effective delivery of high-quality solutions. Remote position: ALL candidates must be physically located within the UK to be eligible for this role. Ideally, candidates would be able to attend pre-planned meetings at our office in London as requested, and some requirement for international travel to Johannesburg and San Francisco to collaborate with colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design scalable and maintainable Salesforce architectures, considering performance, security, and scalability factors.
- Develop custom Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant technologies.
- Create integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Optimize Salesforce performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and technological innovation.
- Contribute to the development of reusable components and frameworks.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development.
- 2+ years experience leading the efforts of junior developers.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and other relevant Salesforce technologies.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security.
- Experience with integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Workato, Jitterbit).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and development tools (e.g., Git, Jira).
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (preferred).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Nice-to-have).
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect (Nice-to-have).
- Additional relevant certifications (e.g., Sales or Service Cloud Consultant).
- Experience working in an international company would be a plus.
- Experience working in a healthcare company would be a plus.
