Role Overview
Weβre looking to add experienced BACP registered (or equivalent) counsellors into our team as permanent Clinical Case Managers. The role will involve supporting our inbound helpline, completing online chats, assessing mental health needs, referring onto clinically appropriate therapy or signposting, offering immediate support, delivering video-based therapy sessions and overarching case management services for our clients. You will collaborate and support our other global clinical teams.
As the UK and Republic of Ireland team is growing quickly, youβll need to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, be flexible and support our business, the growing team and our service development. This is a great opportunity to help shape our business.
The role is a permanent five-day-a-week role or part-time, with the option of a three- or four-day equivalent if preferred. This is a purely home-working role, based in the UK or ROI, and offers a good work-life balance.
We operate a fixed shift pattern for this position including weekday or weekend shifts to cover the service from 8am β 8pm, 7 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with a wide range of presenting issues and severity
- Robustly managing safeguarding and risk cases
- Quickly assessing clinical needs
- Implementing clinically appropriate treatment plans
- Monitoring and case managing your caseload
- Provide the first point of contact for service users accessing Lyra Workplace Mental Health service either via the helpline or online chat facility
- Support and contain service users in the moment with brief goal-focused therapeutic support and psychoeducation
- Complete appropriate brief clinical, therapeutic assessments to determine service user needs
- Conduct robust risk assessments and swiftly implement risk management plans as required
- Based on the outcome of clinical assessment, identify support available and appropriate to the service user either via their contracted sessions for goal-oriented therapy or other services, local charities, or health care as clinically appropriate
- Accurately capture all information on the clinical database pertinent to the clinical management of the case
- Adhere to all clinical and operational protocols, standards, service levels and procedures
- Work collaboratively with our global clinical teams
- Liaising with affiliate clinicians for case updates as required
- Contribute to the service and business development as required
- Play an active role in governance and quality assurance as required
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters level counselling qualification appropriate to professional standards of the United Kingdom and/or the Republic of Ireland
- Current registration or accreditation with relevant professional body
Experience
- Essential
- Experience of working with a broad range of psychological health and workplace-related issues, including mental health, trauma, stress, relationship issues, child-related issues, anxiety, and substance-related issues
- Minimum of 400 hours therapeutic delivery post-qualification
- Experience of working in high-pressure, time-limited environments
- Experience of working with high-risk cases such as suicide, abuse, as well as substance use and abuse
- Minimum of 2 years working experience
- Desirable
- Currently employed or previous experience working for an EAP Provider in the UK and/or the Republic of Ireland
- Experience of working in a time-limited framework
- Previous intake clinician working experience that includes telephonic, live chat, and email counselling
