We value team members who can ‘hit the ground running’ and embody our core values:
- Listen: Prioritise needs and feedback to create a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Yield Growth: Embrace innovation to improve care and reduce stigma.

The Independent Prescriber is a key member of the clinical team, responsible for assessing patients, determining suitability for medical cannabis treatment, and prescribing in line with UK regulations and clinic protocols. The role ensures safe, effective, and patient-centred care through structured consultations, treatment planning, and ongoing follow-up.
Beyond clinical duties, the role contributes to the development and maintenance of high standards across governance, prescribing practice, and operational support. This includes input into audits, SOP reviews, training, and collaboration with both clinical and non-clinical teams. The Independent Prescriber plays a vital part in delivering safe outcomes, supporting service quality, and maintaining the clinic’s regulatory and professional standards.
This role is right for you if you’re passionate about supporting patients with chronic or treatment-resistant conditions and see medical cannabis as a safe, ethical complement to traditional care. You’re confident in assessing, prescribing, and managing patients independently, and value autonomy and flexibility in your clinical work, including hybrid working. You’re open-minded, curious about evolving ethical practices, and interested in the growing evidence behind CBPMs. You enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team and are committed to clinical safety, good governance, and improving access to alternative therapies in the UK.
