We are a purpose-driven and successful corporate reporting agency based on the south coast against a stunning sea view backdrop. We started 15 years ago in a shared office, with one Premier League football club as a client and a vision to produce creative and engaging annual reports. This focus has helped us grow into the award-winning agency we are today, providing the opportunity to work with some of the UK's leading companies who invest in industries and ideas that are making a positive impact on the world around us.
From environmental infrastructure that is accelerating our journey to net zero, to cutting edge immunotherapy saving lives, to AI that is helping to identify illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing, we help our clients to tell their stories, embody their purpose and strengthen stakeholder support and understanding. We are successful thanks to our strong and dynamic team that helps keep us at the forefront of reporting and design.
We have an exciting freelance opening in our team for a multidisciplinary middleweight or senior designer with annual report corporate reporting experience and a Graphic Design Degree, that shares our desire to create and develop ingenious conceptual design solutions that set us apart as a creative agency. This role, initially for up to four months, will see you working across a range of projects, leading on design development, ideas generation and translating the client message, creating outputs for print and digital, with a focus on annual reports that translate corporate narrative for our growing client roll.
You will collaborate with client-side and production colleagues building the strongest relationships. The role is well suited to a friendly and ambitious design all-rounder with strong reporting and project experience, great typographical and layout skills, a keen and curious eye for detail, along with a flair for flexibility and the ability to work calmly under pressure. All under the roof of our amazing new office, based water-side at Shoreham Port.
Day-to-day you will:
- Take direction and be able to articulate your craft
- Ensure designs are on brand and on brief
- Have a strong sense of typographic hierarchy, essential in reporting
- Keep up-to-date with corporate reporting design trends and best practice
- Collaborate with our client and studio teams throughout the project
- Champion conceptual thinking and creative for the design team
- Use your excellent knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and XD to contribute ideas and energy
- Be flexible and team focused with a 'roll up your sleeves' attitude to getting the job done
In the first instance, please apply in writing with your CV and essentially a formal detailed covering letter explaining why you're interested in the role, what you bring to the table and why you would be a good fit for our team, along with your reporting experience and a link to your online folio.
