The Business & Opportunity:
Lyons Recruitment are exclusively working in partnership with a reputable, growing and successful SME. Operating within the construction and property management sector, they offer their clients a range of services from maintenance to full refurbishment projects. They now have a requirement for a Bookkeeper to take responsibility for all financial related matters. This is a part-time position for 3 days per week, based at their new modern offices in Horsforth, Leeds.
Requirement:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will carry out a hands-on, all-encompassing Bookkeeping role, taking full responsibility for all accountancy related tasks. This will include:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and other financial information to trial balance
- CIS Returns
- Purchase & Sales Ledger
- Credit Control
- VAT Returns
- Bank Reconciliations
- Submissions to HMRC
- Payroll & Pension
- Liaison with External Accountants
Skills & Experience Required:
- Either Qualified by Experience or Part/Fully Qualified AAT/ACCA.
- Likely to have worked in an SME, where you have performed a varied role.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, excellent communicator and a good eye for detail.
- A working knowledge of Sage is essential.
What's On Offer:
- A competitive salary in the region of Β£32,000 - Β£40,000 (Full Time Equivalent), either on a PAYE or self-employed basis
