The Lyons Group incorporates 20 stunning holiday parks throughout North Wales and Cumbria as well as a Luxury Resort and a hotel.

Exciting opportunities have arisen for a Head Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping team at Lyons Woodlands Hall, Ruthin. We are looking for a flexible candidate that can work to the needs of the business; days off to be discussed but will include 1 weekend working day. Previous housekeeping experience in either the hotel or caravan industry is essential.

The role:
To follow Covid-19 cleaning and sanitising guidelines at all times.

  • Recruit the team to clean the hotel, communal areas, and caravans
  • Plan and schedule the working day for each team member
  • Train the team to deliver the highest quality clean possible in all areas
  • Create rotas that meet the needs of the business
  • Check cleans and clean if there is a shortfall in the team
  • Ensure that laundry is always available
  • Stock taking and ordering
  • Training on Hot Tubs will be given
  • Any other duty requested by the Hotel Manager
  • Main working days are Monday & Friday; however, days could change depending on demand

What you need to succeed:

Experience as a cleaner or team leader in a hotel or caravan business will make you eligible for this role. You should be able to demonstrate flexibility and strong time management skills. You will be able to prioritise your own workload with the ability to work to strict deadlines and targets.
