Trainee Accounts Administration Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop a career in legal finance. The role is based at our Bristol office with a blend of home/office working.
The role will provide you with great exposure to all aspects of legal finance, enabling you to gain first-hand experience of all accounts functions from an administrative perspective.
Job Responsibility:
- To undertake daily banking functions including banking cheques
- The processing of client and office accounting transactions including postings.
- Processing client and office payments
- Purchase ledger administration
- Opening account files
- Daily filing
- Cheque distribution
- Providing assistance and cover across all sections of the Accounts department
Previous accounts experience is not essential as we will provide you with full, on the job training. The role offers possibilities for future development and progression within our Accounts team. In return we ask that you have a genuine interest in accounts as well as a proven ability to prioritise and work in an organised, methodical way with excellent attention to detail.
You will have good numerical skills, with a Maths GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent). You will be computer literate and competent using excel as the role will involve you having to do a lot of computer / spreadsheet work.
Previous administration experience would be beneficial, although it is not essential for the role. Already holding an Accounts qualification (at GCSE / A level equivalent) or studying towards a qualification would be beneficial for the role, although this is not essential.
