We are seeking an experienced paralegal with a minimum of five years’ PQE to join our busy pursuer personal injury team in Edinburgh. You will manage a mixed caseload and work closely with the Partners. You must be able to provide clear, reliable legal advice to clients and have experience conducting full liability and quantum investigations. Court experience is desirable but not essential. This role will also involve a level of supervision of junior staff members.
Hybrid Working
This role is based in our Edinburgh office with flexibility to work from home for part of the week (min 2 days in the office). A laptop will be provided; you must have suitable home‑working infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of pre‑litigated personal injury files using our case management system.
- Ensure compliance with insurer clients’ service level agreements.
- Communicate proactively with insurers, clients, opposing solicitors, and third parties.
- Progress cases efficiently and work to agreed performance targets.
Skills & Experience
- Paralegal with at least 5 years’ PQE in pursuer personal injury.
- Strong technical ability and experience working to deadlines and targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Confident user of case management systems and general IT.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment.
- Excellent client care, legal research, and analytical skills.
