Purpose: We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal/Case Handler to join our Motor Insurance Claimant Personal Injury team in Bristol.

Working Hours: The successful candidate will work 7 hours a day, 35 hours a week, between the core working hours of 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Managing cases and/or task based work with full supervision - specifically personal injury cases;
  • Pursuing claims through pre- and post-litigation stages, making full use of our case management system;
  • Complying with agreed service standards;
  • Communicating with clients, insurers, expert witnesses and solicitors;
  • Dealing with administration as required.

Skills/Competencies Required:

  • Good attention to detail;
  • Team player;
  • Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Previous case handling experience is not essential as full training will be given.
