Purpose: We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal/Case Handler to join our Motor Insurance Claimant Personal Injury team in Bristol.
Working Hours: The successful candidate will work 7 hours a day, 35 hours a week, between the core working hours of 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing cases and/or task based work with full supervision - specifically personal injury cases;
- Pursuing claims through pre- and post-litigation stages, making full use of our case management system;
- Complying with agreed service standards;
- Communicating with clients, insurers, expert witnesses and solicitors;
- Dealing with administration as required.
Skills/Competencies Required:
- Good attention to detail;
- Team player;
- Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Previous case handling experience is not essential as full training will be given.
