We are looking for ambitious and proactive people who enjoy talking to real people and using their legal training to help them. This role is part office working and part remote working. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to use their legal knowledge to provide practical advice to clients and gain invaluable experience of providing legal advice in a fast paced and varied client facing role.
As a Trainee Legal Helpline Advisor, you will be required to learn how to be an effective advisor; research and improve your legal knowledge and build on your communication skills on an ongoing basis. You will be encouraged to share information, knowledge and experience with colleagues in a supportive environment. You will work alongside experienced advisors who will provide support and coaching on an ongoing basis. You will join a team that offers training contracts because we value the contributions of talented people and like to see the team progress. You will of course receive initial training and will have access to the specialist departments of the firm should you need their help.

Duties/Responsibilities:- Provide clear, concise legal advice to people from a variety of backgrounds over the telephone
- Ensure accurate recording on our case management system (Filestream)
- Keep legal knowledge up to date and attend training as and when required
- Administration tasks and reporting to Insurer clients as required
- Complying with agreed service standards
- Must have an excellent telephone manner
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm while thinking on your feet
- Good team player
- Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
