About The Role
Are you an experienced Supervisor who thrives on leading a high performing team in a practical setting? Here at Arco Professional Safety Services, we are looking to recruit a Respiratory Equipment Supervisor to lead our small team of Equipment Inspectors / Technicians based on our customer site in the Plymouth area. The Respiratory Equipment Supervisor is a full-time position, Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours a week, with the working hours being flexible between 07:00 start time and 18:00 finish time.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and leading a team of RPE Inspectors who are responsible for the servicing of on-site respiratory equipment at our customers facility
- Day to day people management of team performance, annual leave, sickness and absence
- Ensuring the quality of work delivered by the RPE Inspector team meets the required quality standards
- Ensuring compliance with Arcos and site-specific operating procedures
- Carrying out agreed COSHH Inspections as per project scope for all of the RPE on site
- Completing and maintaining COSHH record keeping and Arcos Asset tracking system
- Managing the stock of spare parts and equipment within the workshop to carry out monthly testing
- Additionally supporting the wider team within the Plymouth area
Ideal Candidate
- An experienced Supervisor / People Manager who is able to develop a team to meet critical customer and contractual requirements
- Face to Face customer experience with excellent telephone manner
- Strong IT and data entry skills, particularly Asset Tracking Systems
- Manual handling experience
- Respiratory equipment and inspection knowledge is desirable, although training will be given
- UK Driving license
- Eligible to receive UK Security Clearance
