The purpose of this job is to be responsible for all production related activities including Health and Safety, (Output Rates, Priority Monitoring, Paperwork, Data Inputting, and Equipment Breakdown Reporting), quality and manpower allocation.

Staff development, ensuring employees are fully competent in the tasks undertaken, identify training requirements and maintaining records

Ensure efficient usage of machinery and develop excellent working practices for repairs/general maintenance/Quality Systems and Operating Procedures

Develop a pro-active response to Problem solving, Continuity of information, Communication of information, Remedial action

Ensure detailed ‘shift hand-over’ to ensure continuity

Maintain high organisational standards, operating a ‘clean as you go’ policy, and ensuring safe working practices are maintained

Monitor and maintain all machine output rates to maximize productivity and maintain quality

Responsibility for defect reporting as and when the issue/incident occurs

Must be fluent in written and verbal English

Good level of secondary education including GCSE passes in Math’s and English

Supervisory experience in a Manufacturing environment.

Experience of operating a 3 shift system
