System Architect Software is a core capability for my client, supporting the delivery of complex, high impact systems across sectors including healthcare, communications, and industrial technology. The System Architect will play a key role across the full lifecycle from early concept and system definition through to delivery working closely with clients and leading both technical direction and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own high level system architecture for complex software-driven products
  • Translate ambiguous requirements into clear, scalable, and secure system designs
  • Lead architectural decisions, including technology selection and system trade-offs
  • Oversee delivery to ensure alignment with architectural intent
  • Engage with stakeholders at both technical and commercial levels

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience designing complex, end-to-end software systems
  • Expertise in system architecture and high-level design
  • A strong academic background from A levels
  • Experience leading projects, teams, and budgets in a commercial environment
  • Ability to operate across the full development lifecycle, from concept to delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Embedded C/ C++
