My client is an engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-precision defence and aerospace systems.
Responsibilities:
- To work on software and firmware aspects of product design as part of the integrated engineering team.
- To produce design-related documentation. This may include, but is not limited to, specifications, manuals, illustrations, costings and test procedures. Also to check and approve all documentation as required.
- To provide implementation strategies as required for the implementation or change of functions into the equipment.
- To maintain clear records of all design work.
- To operate in line with the Company’s ISO 9001:2015 system.
Requirements:
- Experience of application development with: C# .NET
- Experience of C, C++ advantageous
- Experience of Android software development (Xamarin) advantageous
- Ability to think conceptually and translate design requirements into viable technical solutions under minimal supervision
- Full software lifecycle experience (documentation, design, development, testing and maintenance)
- Structured design methodology (UML or similar)
