Our client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to become the link between their engineering team and customers, ensuring software releases are reliable, thoroughly tested, and successfully deployed.
You'll play a key role supporting advanced hardware and software platforms that combine multi-sensor data, edge computing and AI to generate highly accurate 3D spatial models in real time.

As the Technical Support Engineer, you will
- Act as the primary technical support contact for customers deploying the company's technology.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Document technical solutions and convert customer feedback into actionable development tasks.
- Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans across software, hardware and cloud platforms.
- Carry out regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
- Validate cloud portal functionality and secure API communications.
- Own the software release process, including testing, version control, release documentation and deployment.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful software releases.
- Support over-the-air (OTA) software deployments to field devices.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar technical support, QA or test engineering role.
- Python and Bash scripting experience.
- Experience working with Docker and containerised environments.
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI or similar).
- Experience with SLAM technologies and testing localisation or mapping systems.
- Exposure to AWS cloud services.
- Knowledge of React and/or Node. js environments.
- Experience working with NVIDIA Jetson hardware or similar embedded edge devices.
- Understanding of OTA deployment solutions for embedded platforms.
- Previous experience working within a start-up or high-growth technology business.
- Familiarity with ROS / ROS2, including debugging nodes and analysing rosbag data.
- Understanding of Debian/apt package management.
