Our client is an award-winning technology and cyber security specialist, looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join its growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional with experience in IT, networking, managed services or cyber security sales who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys building long-term client relationships.

The business supports a wide range of enterprise, public sector and mid-market organisations across sectors including financial services, retail, healthcare, logistics, education and government, helping customers improve security posture, reduce operational risk and modernise complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business opportunities across existing and new customer accounts
  • Build strong relationships with customers, prospects and technology partners
  • Promote networking, cyber security and managed service solutions
  • Conduct proactive outbound business development activity, including cold calling
  • Maintain high levels of daily sales activity and pipeline generation
  • Manage leads, opportunities and forecasting through CRM systems
  • Support marketing campaigns and follow up on inbound engagement activity
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and customer-facing documentation
  • Attend customer meetings where required
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly and monthly KPI targets
  • Develop strong knowledge of the company’s technology solutions and services
