My client are a growing engineering organisation delivering advanced technology solutions within the defence and maritime sector. They’re seeking an Electrical Drafting Engineer to join its expanding engineering team.
This role will focus on producing high-quality electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using Zuken E3, supporting the development of complex electromechanical systems used in safety-critical applications.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate ECAD documentation while supporting engineering, manufacturing, and production teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Producing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using Zuken E3
- Maintaining drawing standards and ECAD documentation quality
- Supporting electrical parts libraries and configuration control processes
- Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve technical documentation queries
- Ability to create clear, accurate electrical schematics and wiring documentation
- Understanding of electrical parts libraries and component management
- Familiarity with configuration control and engineering change processes
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly considerations within electrical systems
- Experience working within engineering or highly regulated industries is advantageous
