We're recruiting for aData Engineer to join a growing consultancy, delivering production-grade data platforms for some of the UK's leading organisations.

This is a client-facing role where you'll design and build scalable cloud-based data solutions, working with modern technologies includingAWS, Databricks and Agentic AI. You'll benefit from structured training, clear career progression and the opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Develop robust data architectures and support the full software development lifecycle.
  • Build tooling for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and data quality.
  • Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Explore and apply emerging technologies, includingAgentic AI, to improve data engineering processes.

About You

You'll have:

  • 2-4 years' experience inData Engineering.
  • Strong skills inPython, SQL and DBT.
  • Hands-on experience withAWS and/or Databricks.
  • Knowledge of AWS services includingS3, Lambda, Glue, RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Experience withTerraform or AWS CDK, Git and modern development practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for emerging technologies, particularlyAgentic AI, and a customer-focused approach.
