A well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Transport Planner/Senior Transport Planner to join its growing transport planning team.
Working across a broad range of development and infrastructure projects, you'll have the opportunity to support schemes from initial feasibility through to planning and delivery.

The Role
As part of an experienced team of Transport Planners and Engineers, you will be involved in delivering high-quality transport planning advice for a variety of residential, commercial, education, healthcare and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare site appraisals, transport feasibility studies and pre-application advice.
- Produce Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
- Undertake traffic modelling and junction capacity assessments using industry-standard software.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Attend client meetings, design team meetings and stakeholder consultations.
- Deliver technically robust reports to agreed timescales.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects while maintaining high professional standards.
About You
Essential
- Consultancy experience within Transport Planning.
- Experience preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
- Competent using industry-standard junction modelling software.
Desirable
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership.
- Experience of highway design and/or Road Safety Audits.
- Experience developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Commercial awareness and a collaborative approach.
