The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Technician to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our optical components used in fibre-optic systems. The position involves testing, analysis, and troubleshooting of optical components to meet required specifications and requirements. Key Responsibilities Testing and Measurement * Perform detailed testing of optical components (lasers, photodiodes, modulators, optical amplifiers) using advanced equipment * Conduct fibre-optic testing including insertion loss and polarisation mode dispersion * Utilize precision instruments to measure optical parameters Data Analysis & Reporting * Analyze test data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential issues * Compile comprehensive test reports and present findings * Provide recommendations for process improvements Troubleshooting & Problem Solving * Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to optical component performance * Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and optimize product designs Required Qualifications and …
