About the Role
You will work on a wide range of challenging, meaningful projects alongside multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers. The role spans research, prototyping, and deployment of machine learning systems across diverse real-world applications. You will contribute to the full ML development cycle, including ideation, data preparation, rapid prototyping, model design, evaluation, and packaging solutions into client-ready demonstrators and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for novel or complex problems.
- Research and experiment with emerging model architectures and ML technologies.
- Build rapid prototypes and assess feasibility for real-world applications.
- Work across disciplines, integrating science, engineering, and machine learning.
- Solve technical challenges across the entire ML pipeline and development life cycle.
About You
You are curious, creative, and bring a strong scientific approach to problem-solving. You enjoy exploring new concepts, learning quickly, and applying ML in innovative ways. You will have:
- A 2:1 or above degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or a similar subject.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Experience building ML solutions for novel, edge, or resource-constrained environments.
- Familiarity with a variety of ML techniques (e.g., computer vision, audio, generative models).
- Knowledge of GPU hardware and programming languages such as CUDA.
Desirable:
- Graduate-level research experience or equivalent R&D experience.
- Experience in client-facing or consultancy-style roles.
- Ability to quickly pick up new technical domains.
