We’re partnered with a leading UK-based consultancy specialising in aligning business strategy with technology delivery, particularly within Financial Services. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for emerging Solution Architects who are already contributing to design work and ready to step into a more defined architecture role.
The Role
You’ll support the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions across cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments. Working alongside experienced architects, you’ll help shape modern architectures — connecting legacy systems with emerging technologies, including AI. This is a client-facing role with strong progression into a fully-fledged Solution Architect position.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to Solution and Technical Architecture (HLDs, solution options, impact assessments)
- Support delivery from design through to implementation
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to deliver real value
- Assist in designing solutions across APIs, microservices and cloud platforms
- Produce clear architecture documentation and artefacts
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years in IT delivery, engineering or architecture-aligned roles
- Exposure to solution/design work (even without the title)
- Understanding of architecture fundamentals and SDLC
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant degree (2:1 preferred)
- Financial Services or regulated industry experience desirable
- Eligible for UK SC clearance
