About the Role

We are recruiting a Front End/Full-Stack Developer for a permanent position working on a Government Digital Services (GDS)-aligned digital programme. You will be part of a delivery-focused team building user-centred, accessible, and secure digital services in line with GDS standards. This role suits a developer who enjoys working across the Front End while remaining comfortable contributing to full-stack solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, user-centred digital services aligned to GDS standards.
  • Build accessible, performant Front End solutions with the ability to contribute across the stack.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and Back End developers in agile teams.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and accessibility requirements.
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong experience as a Front End or Full-Stack Developer.
  • Experience working on GDS or public sector digital projects (highly desirable).
  • Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and web standards.
  • Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and secure development practices.
  • SC clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance is essential.

Working Model

Hybrid role with approximately one day per week onsite in London Victoria.
