My client who specialise in the design and manufacture short range wireless communication systems are seeking an Electronics Technician to join the team on a permanent basis.

The role majors around small scale manufacture of mechanical and electronic assemblies, preparing them for test and carrying out testing according to work instructions and guidance from engineers and experienced technicians.
Responsibilities
* Following wiring diagrams and crimping/soldering parts accordingly
* Use of electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, DVMs etc
* Following circuit diagrams and pcb layouts
* Use of basic IT such as Word and Excel
* Testing components and systems to a test plan and logging of results
* Carrying out basic mechanical fabrication and/or modifications
* Box build of parts
* Wiring and cable harnesses
