AI/ML Engineer (Ph D graduate)
As an AI/ML Engineer, you'll work on a diverse range of advanced research programmes where no two projects are the same. you'll investigate emerging machine learning techniques, develop novel algorithms and build proof-of-concept systems that address complex technical challenges.
Your responsibilities will include
- Researching and evaluating state-of-the-art AI and machine learning techniques.
- Designing, implementing and training machine learning models for novel applications.
- Developing proof-of-concept systems and rapid prototypes.
- Designing experiments, analysing results and translating findings into practical engineering solutions.
- Applying scientific thinking to solve complex multidisciplinary problems.
- Collaborating with software engineers, mathematicians, physicists and systems engineers.
- Presenting technical findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.

About You
- A Ph D (or be close to completing one) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or another highly quantitative discipline.
- Research experience involving machine learning, deep learning, optimisation or statistical modelling.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with frameworks such as Py Torch, Tensor Flow, JAX or Keras.
- Experience designing experiments, evaluating model performance and interpreting results.
- A curious mindset and a passion for exploring emerging technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating within highly technical multidisciplinary teams.
