As a Senior Cost Estimator, you will oversee project cost management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring effective resource management.
The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, analyzing financial data, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. You will also contribute to mentoring team members and strengthening cost-control systems and procedures.
Qualifications- Strong expertise in financial and cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost estimation
- Experience preparing detailed cost estimations for bids and RFQ packages
- Proficiency in financial data analysis and report preparation
- Knowledge of project management, resource allocation, and cost-control methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring and supporting team members
- Proficiency in financial management and analysis software/tools
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related discipline
- Experience within the automotive manufacturing or tooling industry is advantageous
- Ability to support the sales function as required
