Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine servicing of process control equipment (e.g., transmitters, controllers, analysers).
  • Record all maintenance activities accurately.
  • Assist with vendor-led servicing and installations.
  • Support plant maintenance, repairs, isolations, and commissioning work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety systems and permit-to-work procedures.
  • Liaise with and supervise contractors and external engineers.
  • Respond to breakdowns and occasional out-of-hours callouts.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly working environments.
  • Support other technicians and operational staff as needed.
  • Develop technical knowledge through training and supplier engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience.
  • Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in instrumentation (with electrical knowledge).
  • Understanding of oil & gas industry operations.
  • Able to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 7.30am-4.30pm
