Main Purpose of the Role

This role requires a commercially focused professional with strong manufacturing and aerospace industry experience to manage and grow customer relationships across complex engineering environments. You will leverage your technical and sector knowledge to support existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and drive the full sales and account management process from enquiry through to delivery.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Assess customer technical and commercial requirements and coordinate internal actions to ensure successful fulfilment.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage all required products, technical documentation, and approvals related to quality, compliance, and delivery.
  • Lead regular account reviews with key customers, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring customer requirements are effectively communicated to internal teams.
  • Monitor, analyse, and resolve customer complaints in collaboration with senior stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Support continuous improvement of contract review and customer engagement processes.
  • Represent the organisation at relevant industry events and trade shows.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and training requirements applicable to a manufacturing environment.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Proven experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally supporting complex, regulated products.
  • Strong background in the aerospace industry, with a clear understanding of quality, compliance, and customer requirements.
  • Sound technical understanding of automotive and/or related engineering sectors.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Flexible, resilient, and able to perform effectively under time pressure.
