Our client is a rapidly growing medical technology innovator specializing in advanced aesthetic medical devices. We are searching for a Senior Electronics Engineer to take full product ownership of embedded electronics systems across a cutting-edge medical device portfolio. You will lead the design and development of RF and embedded electronics from concept through to market.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Own the entire electronics architecture for medical devices across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through regulatory approval to manufacturing.
- Design and develop embedded systems including firmware, control algorithms, and safety-critical systems for precision RF plasma delivery.
- Lead RF circuit design for plasma generation, power delivery, impedance matching networks, and EMC compliance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by working directly with regulatory affairs to meet international medical device standards (CE, FDA, IEC 60601, ISO 13485).
- Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and interface with external testing houses and manufacturing partners.
Essential Requirements:
- MedTech background with proven experience designing electronics for medical devices or highly regulated industries, including knowledge of IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and design control processes.
- Embedded electronics systems expertise including extensive experience with microcontroller platforms, firmware development (C/C++), analogue/digital circuit design, and PCB layout.
- Full product ownership experience with demonstrated ability to independently own entire electronics systems from concept to production and manage technical trade-offs.
- RF experience including solid foundation in RF circuit design, power systems, impedance matching, and familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analysers, network analysers).
