We're recruiting for a hands-on Production Assistant to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the day-to-day running of production operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, CNC, production coordination or team leadership who enjoys keeping operations organised and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily production activities and monitor performance
- Coordinate training, attendance, overtime and workforce planning
- Manage production resources, tooling and consumables
- Assist with maintenance coordination and issue escalation
- Track quality actions and continuous improvement activities
- Promote a safe, organised and efficient shopfloor environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Background in production coordination, team leading or similar
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems
- Knowledge of CNC machining or lean manufacturing principles is advantageous
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
