Lynx Recruitment is seeking a skilled Workflow Developer to design, develop, and improve workflows, automations, and system integrations that support business operations. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to translate operational needs into secure, reliable, and well-documented technical solutions. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain workflows, automations, and system integrations across core business systems.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data routines to support workflow logic and reporting.
- Develop integrations using APIs, REST services, and approved low-code or integration tools.
- Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into technical specifications with clear acceptance criteria.
- Maintain technical documentation and support stakeholders through training, prototyping, and change adoption.
- Ensure all solutions follow governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Contribute to projects including testing, release planning, and handover to IT support.
- Collaborate with external vendors where needed to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in workflow development, systems customisation, or similar technical roles.
- Hands-on experience building CRMs, practice management systems, or other business management systems.
- Strong SQL skills, including queries, stored procedures, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience designing workflows, automations, and system integrations.
- Understanding of data flows and information architecture.
- Ability to analyse complex requirements and produce structured technical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
