We are recruiting on behalf of a respected engineering consultancy for a Senior Engineer to join their civil team in Auckland. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced engineer who can lead projects, mentor others, and deliver quality outcomes.

The Opportunity

You’ll work across civil infrastructure, land development, and multidisciplinary projects from concept to delivery. The role combines technical leadership, project delivery, mentoring, and stakeholder management across survey, planning, and design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Lead and deliver civil infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help lift team capability.
  • Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Use Civil 3D to review outputs, support QA, and provide design input where needed.

What You Will Bring

  • 8+ years’ experience and a degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Strong track record delivering complex civil projects in New Zealand.
  • Strong Civil 3D capability and confidence reviewing technical work.
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
  • Clear communication and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • High standards, accountability, and a focus on quality delivery.
