Lynx Precast Ltd is a successful, privately owned manufacturing business established over 12 years ago. It manufactures precast concrete flooring products and structural precast elements for the UK construction and house building industry. Due to continued growth in sales and diversification into new products we are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in the precast concrete flooring sector. This is a critical role focused on managing incoming enquiries, supporting our estimating team, generating new opportunities, and building strong client relationships to support business growth Sales team at our sales offices near Ashington, Northumberland.
Role & Responsibilities
Lynx Precast Ltd is looking for an IT literate candidate with great communication and organisational skills with the ability to work on their own initiative.
Full training will be offered to ensure the applicant is comfortable within their new role. They will be monitored and assisted by a member of the team until they are confident enough to manage their own workload.
Once training has completed, the candidate will be responsible for keeping detailed records of all their sales interactions and following leads through until completion. The candidate will be contacting existing and potential customers, building relationships and selling from our product portfolio.
- Inputting and updating our CRM
- Researching and contacting new customers
- Working with estimating department to follow up on leads
- Communicating with customer to understand their commercial requirements
- Keeping detailed records
The Person / Successful Candidate:
- Motivated and organized, being a confident and clear communicator
- A team player, with a \’can do\’ approach
- Demonstrate efficient time management
- Confident with IT and proficient in the use of Microsoft office
- Able to manage own workload and work to deadlines
- Must be very approachable and able to read people and situations
- Excellent grammar – proficient grading in English is required
- Excellent phone manner
- CRM management & Microsoft Office
Package & Benefits:
This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours Monday to Thursday 8AM-5PM to Friday 8AM-3PM.
Salary is £15,704.00 per annum
Training Course – Sales Executive Level 4
Most of your course will be working getting hands on experience.
