Barnsley Area £19.66 per hour PAYE Monday to Friday | 07:00 16:45 Long-term opportunity. We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join a busy fleet maintenance operation, overseeing the day-to-day running of a vehicle repair workshop and supporting the delivery of essential frontline services. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled vehicle maintenance professional with supervisory experience to lead a team, maintain high operational standards, and contribute to the efficient management of a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant equipment.

The Role

As Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will support workshop operations, manage workloads, provide technical guidance, and help ensure fleet availability meets operational demands. You will also play a key role in fleet planning, compliance, health and safety, performance monitoring, and supporting future developments, including the transition towards low-emission and electric vehicles.
