Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a Principal Strategic Planner to support a local authority in Oxfordshire on a long-term contract basis. This is a key role for an experienced planning professional with a background in policy and/or development management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support the preparation and implementation of local planning policy.
  • Provide strategic advice on major planning applications and infrastructure projects.
  • Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and the public on planning issues.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in town and country planning, preferably within a local authority (county, district or unitary).
  • Proven track record in planning policy and/or development management.
