We are recruiting for an experienced Business Intelligence Lead to support Shropshire Councils Adult Social Care transformation programme. This is a key role supporting Adults and Housing services with high-quality data, insight, performance reporting and strategic analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, including Adult Social Care leadership teams, to support evidence-led decision making, service improvement, transformation and assurance.
Key duties include:
- Acting as the main BI contact for Adults and Housing services
- Supporting Adult Social Care transformation, including front door transformation
- Leading on CQC inspection and peer review data requirements
- Producing insight, dashboards, performance reports and forecasting models
- Supporting data quality improvements and performance monitoring
- Working with internal teams, partners and senior stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for automation and better use of data
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong BI, data analysis and reporting experience
- Experience within local authority, adult social care, housing, public health or regulated services
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience with dashboards, performance frameworks, data quality and strategic insight
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful intelligence for decision makers
This role is inside IR35 and requires onsite presence in Shrewsbury ideally twice per week, with some flexibility.
