We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Education Lawyer to support a busy local authority legal team within North Northamptonshire on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and education law to join a collaborative and highly regarded team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of SEN and education law matters
- Providing legal advice on SEND Tribunal cases, education disputes and related matters
- Advising officers, committees and senior stakeholders on education law issues
- Drafting legal documentation, witness statements and case papers
- Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with current legislation and guidance
- Supporting the wider legal team on education-related matters as required
