We are currently seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy housing services team in Rugby on a 3-month contract. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day working remotely. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality housing management services, supporting tenants, and contributing to a customer-focused, efficient housing service.
Please note: A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and valid business insurance are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a comprehensive housing management service to tenants across general needs properties.
- Provide advice, support, and information to tenants and the public via home visits, office appointments, phone, and written communication.
- Support new tenants during their settling-in period, including conducting visits within the first four weeks.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to sustain tenancies and provide tailored support.
- Assist tenants with budgeting, income maximisation, and accessing relevant benefits and support services.
