We are recruiting for a LGV Waste and Recycling Driver Loader in the Sheffield area to support the safe collection of waste and recyclables from residential and commercial properties. You will operate a collection vehicle, lead a small crew, and update service data using the Bartec in cab system. This is a full time role for an initial 3 month period.
Key Requirements
- Category C driving licence
- CPC
- Experience in waste operations and vehicle handling
- Physically fit for outdoor manual work in all weather
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Knowledge of health & safety and environmental practices
- Ability to supervise and allocate tasks
You may be required to support other services (e.g. highways) as needed. Full training provided.
Hours: Up to 39.5 hours (Including driver walk around checks), Monday to Friday, 06:45 start; additional Saturday working may be available.
