We are recruiting an experienced Business Partnering Accountant to support complex service areas with high-quality financial analysis, monitoring and decision support. This is a business-facing role requiring strong technical finance capability combined with the confidence to challenge and influence operational managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the Medium Term Financial Strategy
- Revenue budget monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis
- Provide financial insight to support decision-making
- Support development of business cases and financial modelling
- Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies and governance
- Maintain cost centre structures and financial controls
- Identify risks, pressures and opportunities across supported services
Essential Experience
- Experience in a public sector or complex organisational environment
- Strong revenue monitoring and forecasting background
- Confident communicator able to challenge and influence managers
- Good understanding of financial governance and risk management
