Our client is looking for a Community-Focused Laundry Driver who can support vulnerable residents with mobility issues who require assistance with their laundry. This is a temporary role on a 3-month contract in the first instance.
The Role:
- As a Laundry Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting laundry from service users across Milton Keynes, helping to maintain their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and delivering laundry to and from service users' homes across Milton Keynes
- Providing a courteous and professional service, building positive relationships with residents
- Maintaining accurate records relating to collections, deliveries and vehicle use
- Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, safe and well-maintained, reporting any issues as required
- Liaising with contractors regarding vehicle maintenance where necessary
- Adhering to all health & safety, safeguarding and council procedures
- Acting as a positive representative of the client
Requirement:
- Full clean driving licence
- Basic DBS check
- Previous experience of Laundry
- Customer Service experience supporting vulnerable adults
Working Monday to Friday. Core hours: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Wednesday 7:30am - 3:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 1:00pm. 37 hours a week.
