The predicted salary is between 22000 - 26000 Β£ per year.
Our client is looking for a candidate who can undertake all assigned operative duties using appropriate tools, equipment and materials, which include but are not limited to general grounds maintenance, including ride-on and pedestrian mowing, strimming, pruning, hedge cutting, edging, weeding, planting, over-marking sports pitches, litter picking, bin emptying and site inspections.
You will work face to face with internal and external stakeholders, customers, site/facility managers, contractors, delivery persons and the general public to a high standard and in a professional manner in line with policies and procedures.
Working as part of a team to manage equipment, keeping it safe and fit for purpose. To ensure all machinery and equipment is used in accordance with safe operating procedures and RAMS. To ensure that vehicles and equipment are in a clean and serviceable condition, and that all defects are reported to your supervisor/manager and/or workshop garage as per instruction. To deliver positive outcomes wherever possible to benefit the community.
Essential requirements:- Experience of domestic/commercial garden or grounds maintenance/landscaping
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety at Work
- Be prepared to work outdoors in all weathers
- Physical fitness and mobility to withstand long periods of standing or walking
- Capability to build rapport with customers, fostering positive relationships and ensuring a positive working environment
- Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and maintain a structured workflow to meet deadlines and achieve objectives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders, as well as the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks promptly and efficiently
- Ability to work well as part of a team, collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and contribute positively to a cooperative work environment

- Must hold a full clean driving licence
- Must have experience of strimmers, pedestrian mowers and ideally ride-on mowers
