Interim Contract Initial 3+ Months 37 Hours Per Week 12 Days On Site

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Financial Transformation Lead to support a major adult social care commissioning transformation programme within a large public sector organisation. This is a high-impact interim opportunity focused on financial recovery, system improvement and commissioning transformation.

The successful candidate will lead a programme aimed at strengthening financial management processes, improving operational delivery and recovering significant outstanding funding linked to commissioned services delivered alongside health partners. This is not a traditional finance role. The organisation is seeking a transformation-focused leader with strong commissioning experience who can independently shape strategy, drive delivery and embed sustainable change across services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing a clear approach to financial recovery and financial management within commissioning
  • Designing and embedding operational systems, processes and infrastructure to improve financial control and performance
  • Leading debt recovery activity in partnership with health organisations and system partners
  • Building strong relationships across operational teams and external stakeholders
  • Establishing clear delivery plans, milestones and assurance reporting
