# Full-Time Cleaner – College Building
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour PAYE Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm Working Pattern: Full-time, 40 hours per week Requirement: Basic DBS Check
## About the Role
LYNX Employment Services are recruiting a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to work within a college building in Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping buildings clean, safe and welcoming for students, staff and visitors.
With regular weekday hours and no scheduled weekend shifts, this role offers a consistent working pattern in a professional educational environment.
## Your Responsibilities
You'll help maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building, including:
Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
Maintaining shower rooms and changing facilities.
Cleaning reception areas and other communal spaces.
Keeping general areas clean, tidy and presentable.
Cleaning the first aid room to the required hygiene standards.
Following cleaning schedules and safe working procedures.
Reporting any maintenance issues or cleaning supply shortages.
## What We're Looking For
Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial. A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude. Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of basic cleaning and hygiene procedures. Willingness and ability to meet the Basic DBS requirement . ## Why Apply?
