We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Waste Drivers to join our client's waste and recycling team in Coventry on a temporary ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent weekday work with no weekend requirement.
The Role
- Driving refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Working alongside a crew to complete scheduled waste and recycling collections.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
- Ensuring all collections are completed in line with health and safety procedures.
- Providing a professional and courteous service to the public.
Requirements
- A valid HGV (Class 2 / Category C) Licence.
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- A valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) Card.
- A good understanding of driver regulations and health and safety requirements.
- Previous experience driving HGV vehicles is preferred.
