Rate: £68.16 per hour PAYE + holiday pay

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Initial 3-month assignment - potential to become permanent for the right candidate

Working Pattern: Minimum 3 days per week onsite / undertaking visits

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Building Control Interim Lead to take operational responsibility for the delivery and leadership of a Building Control service across North Northamptonshire. This is a senior interim appointment with responsibility for Building Control Surveying, Technical and Business Support, ensuring the service meets statutory requirements and Building Safety Regulator standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Building Control service.
  • Provide professional advice on all aspects of Building Control and Building Safety.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory Building Control and Building Safety requirements.
  • Lead implementation of the Building Safety Levy.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards in line with BSR requirements.
  • Lead, motivate and develop Building Control teams.
  • Drive service transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage performance, budget.
