We are looking for a reliable and proactive Caretaker / Housekeeper to support an extra care scheme in Redditch. This is a temporary agency assignment focused mainly on cleaning and housekeeping duties within a residential care environment.
Key Details
- Location: Redditch, B97
- Hours: 20 hours per week (typically 4 hours per day, hours may vary)
- Contract Length: 12 weeks initially, with possible extension
- Pay Rate: £14.13 per hour
- Start Date: 18 May 2026
- IR35 Status: Inside IR35
- DBS: Enhanced DBS required
Main Duties
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas to a high standard
- Sweeping, mopping, litter picking, and waste removal
- Supporting housekeeping and general site cleanliness
- Carrying out minor caretaking duties as required
- Reporting maintenance or health & safety concerns
- Assisting in keeping the environment safe, tidy, and welcoming for residents
About You
- The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning, housekeeping, or caretaking experience
- Be dependable, organised, and able to work independently
- Have a positive attitude and good attention to detail
- Be comfortable working within a residential care setting
- Deliver excellent customer service and work well with residents and colleagues
- A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
